There’s a lot of different and interesting ideas about it, but… there doesn’t seem to actually be any evidence of Bendy killing Sammy, despite Sammy’s dialogue during the scene. I’ve seen some speculation about how Bendy was “freeing” Sammy by killing him, or that the reason why he did it is that he was displeased by something Sammy did, like capturing Henry in the first place, or because of how Sammy’s mask was cut around the mouth, etc. Within the Batim fandom it’s a common “fact” and/or belief that after Sammy Lawrence tried to sacrifice Henry to his “lord” Bendy, or the ink demon, he got killed by the very demon he was trying to please. Of course, there might be parts where you see new information or things you already know or even parts left open for interpretation, and you might not agree with what I’m trying to say, and that’s ok! This is mainly to show what I think likely could’ve been possible, and to help give back to the community new ideas and answers.Īdding onto that, I do think I genuinely found some new things, so I would really appreciate if you guys could spread this theory if you agree! It would mean a lot ^^Īnyway, let’s end the intro and head into the actual theory. So, what I’m hoping to do with this post is to use information of my own and information from previous theories, including this one, that I hope can clear up some things you might’ve been questioning (I certainly know I was questioning a LOT) and bring to you all a new perspective on how things might have happened. Obviously I didn’t, because then there wouldn’t be a theory for you all now haha Basically what happened to me was that being the giant fangirl of Batim I am, I watched and read like 300 theories before realizing they all either disagreed with each other or didn’t cover pieces of information I already saw, which kinda made my confused brain want to fly away and just drop the subject completely. And even after Chapter 5 came out it really didn’t make sense to me how Sammy was attacking Henry.
Ever since I saw gameplay of Chapter 3 and 4 something always felt weird about how certain areas had hints of Sammy being there or at least having some sort of influence on the area, with instruments resting in the hallways and a Bendy head that had the same markings as Sammy’s mask just hanging above Henry/the player. But what always bothered me was how a lot of those theories always left something out that I was still curious about a lot of the ones that mentioned Sammy didn’t actually die and was going to return were made BEFORE Chapter 5 when we actually have confirmation that he returns. I was a bit hesitant doing this at first considering there have been plenty of theories about Sammy and what exactly happened to him over the course of the chapters throughout the game.
